Not only was Juan Gabriel Mexico's bestselling artist with decades worth of chart-topping hits, he became an icon, a legend that will forever be remembered for his mark in the music industry. Known as El Divo de Juárez, Gabriel lived up to that name with his flamboyant style and his true Divo looks and moves. He was basically the Elton John of the Latin music world. And his genre? Anything. The man could rock, pop, mariachi, and disco his way to any stage.

Today, we're remembering him in his best moments, the moments where he'd bust a move like no one was watching. Luckily, we were watching, and each of his performances always featured moments of magic (and wine).

When he bust a move and took a sip of bubbly to refuel.

When he threw wine over his left shoulder instead of salt after giving giving the performance of a lifetime.

And when unbuttoning a dress shirt became a dance move.

Shakira, who? Juan Gabriel's hips are the ones that didn't lie.

Neither did his feet. The man had rhythm coursing through his whole body. From the sole of his feet to the top of his crown.

The man literally made anything a dance move.

Even though that caused him a few hiccups along the way.

Still, he will always be remembered as the legend, the icon, the divo that always made us get on our feets with him.

Here's one last toast for you, Juan Gabriel.
