What three words would you use to describe 2017?

"I’m grateful. It was challenging, you know because of the marathon and stuff like that and lots of music I think I always have to involve the word music, because I released my fifth album, you know, there were 17 tracks, there were a lot of great collaborations this year with Shakira, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Farruko, Gente de Zona, Zendaya, we just released a video with Chris Brown. So I think that a lot of music this year.”

What are your biggest lessons about 2017?

"We’re going through tough times in the world, so for real it’s just about being grateful this year. It’s all about just being with your family and being grateful that you’ve got love, food, and that you’ve got the simple things. Christmas this year for me is just about being with the family, kicking back for about two weeks and then coming back next year, charged up and ready to go.”

For his plans for 2018, Royce, who has once again teamed up with Sprint for its Live Unlimited Campaign, says he’s very proud of himself for finishing the 26.2-mile New York City Marathon and plans on running again next year.

“I’m going to continue to try to run next year, I really grew a passion that I never knew about with this marathon. Maybe do some half marathons next year in other cities. You know we just released a new song with J Balvin and Bad Bunny it’s called “Sensualidad” and it’s gotten over 200 million views and it hasn’t even been out for a month. So I’m looking forward to putting out new music, lots of projects for the fans. East Los High also, a bit more of the acting side came out. So I’m looking forward to doing more projects like that, different things. I’m looking forward to surprising my fans with different type of music with different styles and different things outside of what people are used to me doing. So I’m looking forward to some of that and I’m hoping that people enjoy it, you know? I think it’s all about doing different things every year.”

In case you guys didn't know, Prince Royce is a Taurus and if there's something that this sing loves is to eat! We asked him about his guilty pleasure food:

“Yes, well I love lasagna. I love pasta. I love carbs. I love Dominican sancocho. I love starburst, I love candy, I love sour things. I’m a dessert dude, you know. So I can eat dessert all day. Honestly, you know, after the marathon, I was eating so clean and burning so many calories throughout the whole training that honestly I’ve just been eating all day. I’ve had no diet, but I’m planning on getting back on my diet in January, so we’ll see. I don’t even think I’ve been to the gym in a while. Hopefully we can bring the six-pack back by February.
