Part of Me makes its debut in the Middle East
MIAMI, July 11, 2014 – Part of Me (En Otra Piel), the Telemundo Studios production distributed by Telemundo Internacional, made its Middle Eastern debut last night on Israel’s Viva Channel in the 8:00 pm time slot.
This endearing and shocking tale, which is currently on air in the United States, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Panamá, replaces Santa Diabla, another successful Telemundo Studios story, in its time slot.
Its mysterious drama, based on the widely successful telenovela Second Chance (El Cuerpo del Deseo), which captivated audiences in Israel before, arrives this time to the small screen with a special twist.
The protagonists - this time two resilient women - Adriana Aguilar (Maria Elisa Camargo) and Monica Serrano (Laura Flores), will meet under strange circumstances. Adriana, who is running from a predator, will find Monica in her path. When Monica offers her a ride, the two will bond in a mysterious way by the power of a special talisman. Fate would have it that both women will die and while Adriana’s soul is wandering, Monica’s spirit will claim Adriana’s body.
Love will play a role in each woman’s fight to keep living. While Monica struggles to protect her daughters and reclaim her beloved Gerardo (Jorge Luis Pila), Adriana will fight to return to her fiancé Diego (David Chocarro). But Monica will not let go until she claims her revenge against her evil niece Elena (Vanessa Villela), setting her children out of harm’s way.
