William Levy, Gaby Espino, Pedro Fernández, and Maite Perroni will be the official hosts of the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Telemundo announced today that Latin music and television stars William Levy, Gaby Espino, Pedro Fernández, and Maite Perroni will be the official hosts of the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards, to be held on Thursday, September 23 at the University of Miami Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

The music special will broadcast live on Telemundo beginning at 7pm/6c with the traditional "La Alfombra de los Premios Billboard" red carpet special, followed by the awards show at 8pm/7c.

The event will also be simulcast on the Hispanic entertainment cable channel, Universo, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

This is the first time that the four international stars will come together on the same stage to present viewers with the best in Latin music.

Cuban-born American actor and producer, William Levy, rose to fame while on Telemundo's reality shows "Isla de la Tentación" and "Protagonistas de Novela." His first starring role in 2008, alongside Maite Perroni in the telenovela "Cuidado con el Ángel," broke U.S. viewership records, and was followed by the success of "Sortilegio.” Named one of the Top Ten Latino Actors by Variety, he has participated in several films, including Tyler Perry’s "The Single Moms Club," "Addicted,” and "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."

He was also a series regular in the TV series "Star.” Most recently, he wrote, produced, and starred in “En Brazos de un Asesino,” the feature film adaptation of romance-suspense novel Killing Sarai. He currently stars in Telemundo's remake of "Café con Aroma de Mujer," alongside Laura Londoño, and will co-produce and star in “La Isla,” a thriller set on Easter Island.

Venezuelan actress, entrepreneur, and influencer Gaby Espino, starred in the successful Telemundo telenovelas “La Suerte de Loli,” and "Santa Diabla," and participated in the 3rd and 4th season of "Señora Acero. She also starred on the Netflix series “Jugar con Fuego.” In 2015 she hosted the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the most-watched telecast in the history of the awards. She then returned to host the ceremony in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

She was also the host of "Premios Tu Mundo" between 2011 and 2014. Gaby is currently one of Neutrogena’s ambassadors for the Latin and General market in the U.S. and for nine consecutive years, she has been the spokesperson for Spectrum. In recent years, she has become one of the most influential Latinas, with over 19 million followers.

Pedro Fernández, the renowned Mexican singer, actor, producer, and composer, gained worldwide recognition for his countless musical hits and his participation in films such as "Vacaciones de Terror" and "La Mugrosita," and for his roles in soap operas including "Cachito de Cielo" and "Hasta el Fin del Mundo."

He will soon return to television with a starring role in "Malverde: El Santo Patrón" premiering in September on Telemundo. His musical career includes more than 35 recordings of songs such as "Yo No Fui," "Amarte a la Antigua" and "El Aventurero." In addition, he shared his experience and musical talent with young aspiring artists as a "coach" in two seasons of Telemundo's "La Voz Kids."

Mexican singer and actress Maite Perroni, who boasts over 30 million social media followers and toured the world as a member of musical group RBD, has starred in successful series on the three most important streaming platforms worldwide. The first season of “Oscuro Deseo” was launched in over 190 countries and was watched by 35 million users, making it the most successful non-English language production on Netflix.

“El Juego de las Llaves” on Amazon Prime Video was recognized as “Series of the Year” at the GQ 2019 awards and nominated that same year in the category of “Outstanding Spanish-language Scripted Television” at the U.S. Glaad Awards. The success of “Herederos Por Accidente” on Claro Video, led to its purchase by MGM TV International for international broadcast.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards is the only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social data that informs Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period.

The awards will coincide with Billboard Latin Music Week, which returns to Miami from September 20-25, 2021, and will host live conversations and performances with superstars like Karol G, Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, and many more.
