WHAT: Telemundo and Billboard announced today the date and venue for the 2022 edition of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the most prestigious and longest-running awards show in Latin music. The coveted music special, produced by MBS Special Events, Inc. and Telemundo, will feature live performances by today’s top Latin artists to celebrate the best in Latin music.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards is the only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, streaming, radio airplay and social data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period.

7pm/6c — “La Alfombra de Premios Billboard” — One-hour Red carpet special
8pm/7c —“Billboard Latin Music Awards” — Three-hour awards show
WHERE: The Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
HOW: The Billboard Latin Music Awards will broadcast LIVE on Telemundo. The awards show will also broadcast simultaneously on Spanish entertainment cable network, Universo, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional, and on demand next day on Peacock.
