International Film and TV Star Gaby Espino Will Return as 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards Host

Telemundo announced that film and television star Gaby Espino will be the official host of the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Telemundo announced that film and television star Gaby Espino will be the official host of the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

She will be joined by actress, tv host, and beauty queen Nastassja Bolivar, as well as by a large lineup of music and television celebrities who will present this year’s awards, including: Aymee Nuviola, Christian Chávez, Frederik Oldenburg, Ivy Queen, Jacky Bracamontes, Jeimy Osorio, Luis Ernesto Franco, Natalia Jiménez, Osvaldo Benavides, Pedro Capó, Samadhi Zendejas, Silvia Navarro and Sofía Castro.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards will be broadcast live on Telemundo on Wednesday, October 21 starting at 7pm/6c with the red carpet pre-show followed at 8pm/7c by the three-hour awards show from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Internationally renowned actress Gaby Espino, starred in the Telemundo original series "Jugar con Fuego." She also starred in various other Telemundo productions including the 3rd and 4th seasons of “Señora Acero,” and was acclaimed for her performance as the star of “Santa Diabla,”. She has hosted television specials and shows including the "Billboard Latin Music Awards" and "MasterChef Latino."

As one of the leading icons in Latin American entertainment, the Venezuelan actress was the main host of the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards and then returned to host the ceremony in 2016, 2018, and 2019. She was also the host of “Premios Tu Mundo” between 2011 and 2014. As an entrepreneur, she launched her lipstick brand Gaby Espino Lipsticks in 2015 and, in recent years, has become one of the most popular influencers with www.GabyEspino.com and her YouTube channel GabyEspinoTV, giving advice and offering empowering messages to over 23 million followers.

Gaby Espino will be joined by Nicaraguan actress, TV host, and beauty queen Nastassja Bolivar, who will offer all the behind-the-scenes coverage. Bolivar is the host of “Latinx Now!” and most recently also the digital reporter of “La Voz” on Telemundo.

The ceremony will also highlight a long list of stars who will be presenting awards, including actress and host of “La Voz” on Telemundo, Jacky Bracamontes; Telemundo personality Frederik Oldenburg; singer and actress of “Celia,” Ayme Nuviola; Puerto Rican actress Jeimy Osorio from the series “Celia” and “Betty en NY”; the stars of the series “Falsa Identidad 2,” Luis Ernesto Franco and Samadhi Zendejas; leading actress Silvia Navarro, who will star in "La Suerte de Loli," Mexican actor Osvaldo Benavides, and young actress Sofia Castro, who will be joined by musical artists Christian Chavez, former RBD member who just released his new single "Celos"; Puerto Rican stars Pedro Capó, who has just released his new album, "Munay", Ivy Queen, who recently launched her latest musical production "Next;" and Spanish singer and songwriter Natalia Jimenez who recently debuted “El Lado Izquierdo De La Cama.” 

The awards will coincide with Billboard’s Latin Music Week, a three-day virtual experience dedicated to Latin music, culture, and entertainment.
