The “Mi Gente” singer surprised fans during the concert with fellow colombian urban singer Karol G and performed their hit song “Mi Cama Remix”.
And if that wasn’t enough, Balvin brought out Jhay Cortez to perform one of the best songs of summer 2019 “No Me Conoce Remix”.
Artists such as Mau y Ricky, Alex Sensation and Jessie Reyes attended the concert and hung out with the internationally acclaimed singer backstage along with Karol G and Jhay Cortez.
This was Balvin’s first time hosting a show at the prestigious Madison Square Garden. In previous tours, Balvin stopped in New York and performed in places such as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Madison Square Garden Theatre.
This marks a historic night for the “Que Pretendes” singer as he is the first Colombian reggaeton singer known worldwide to sell out a concert at the Madison Square Garden.
Radio DJ and musical artist Alex Sensation shared a story on stage of the first time he met Balvin, and told the crowd that the “Reggaeton” singer said to him 10 years ago that this was one of his biggest dreams.
Without a doubt, Balvin delivered in both English and Spanish. J Balvin is truly an isnpiration to many. After the concert, fans stood outside “the Garden” to sing his No. 1 hit single “I Like It.”
