This Is How Bad Bunny and J Balvin Became BFF's
From acting like fools together behind the scenes to dropping a collaborative album here’s proof that Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio) and J Balvin (José Álvaro Osorio Balvin) are a real life example of BFF goals.
Let’s take things back a little bit.
The Colombian singer and Puerto Rican artist first met in 2016 through DJ Luian in Puerto Rico.
One year later, on March 3, 2017 Balvin released “Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola” feauting Bad Bunny.
The song peaked No.14 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and landed them two Latin Grammy nominations for bes turban fusion performance.
You can tell that the two stars have chemistry by watching the video but it only gets better on social media. Take a look at them joking around during a photo shoot.
Bunny and Balvin have become so popular that they’ve caught the attention of big artists such as Cardi B, Beyoncé and more music stars. Look at them casually hanging out with one of the best music producers in the game, Pharrell Williams. No big deal!!!
3 months after releasing their first collab together, Bunny and Balvin released “Soy Peor Remix” which featured Latin trap star Ozuna and reggaeton wonder Arcangel.
On Nov. 2, 2017, “El Conejo Malo” and Balvin dropped “Sensualidad” along Dominican singer, Prince Royce and Hear This Music. Up to date, this song’s video has over 700 million views on YouTube.
Half a year later Balvin jumped on Cardi B’s song “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny. The summer jam became the Latin trap King and the Colombian urban artist’s first No.1 hit on the Billboard charts.
If you didn’t know that much about them you would think that Bunny and Balvin are a duo BUT they are not. However, both artists surprised fans during the summer of 2019 with their first collaborative album ‘Oasis’.
Both artists have had each others back since the first day they met. Without a doubt Bad Bunny and J Balvin’s brotherhood is forever.
Wouldn't you want to hang out with them for a day?
