There's a Guinness World Record for Most Expensive Vanilla Milkshake

Serendipity 3 in New York city won a Guinness World Record for the world's most expensive vanilla milkshake, officially defining fancy AF

Serendipity 3 in New York, known for its cheeky history and famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate has been awarded a Guinness World Record by creating the most expensive vanilla milkshake. The debut of this fancy AF conconction kicks off on National Vanilla Milkshake Day and can be yours for a cool $100.

Let's take a look at how Serendipity 3’s Creative Chef, Joe Calderone makes this baby.

First of all, this isn't your regular old milkshake glass. This is a work of art itself, a custom glass bedazzled in over 3,000 Swarovski crystals.

Aside from its mesmerizing beauty (hey look! shiny!) we're left wondering...is that dishwasher safe?

For the base of the milkshake, Chef Calderone even uses special milk from Jersey cows, known for having a high butterfat content. For reference, this is a Jersey cow.

Hello, vaca.

The Chef incorporates several ingredients sourced from various parts of the world. This includes special vanilla ice cream from Tahiti and clotted cream from Devon Cornwall, England.

The vanilla beans are also from a far away place. These are from Madagascar where it can take between 1-3 years to get the perfect intensity of flavor.

Let’s not forget the gold. That’s not even your average run of the mill 10k or 14k gold either, it’s 23k edible gold, designed to let everyone know that not only is this an expensive milkshake but it’s also more balling that you are.

Ok, so let’s get one thing out of the way. That’s not dulce de leche. It’s technically Donkey Caramel Sauce made from Venezuelan cocoa, Piedmont hazelnuts, fresh Donkey Milk, and cane sugar.

The most expensive vanilla milkshake in the world is topped with a Luxardo Gourmet maraschino cherry. Notice that this cherry is a rich deep color…yeah, apparently real cherries don’t look like those bright neon red cherries you normally get in a milkshake.

Voilà, the final product. We don’t know about you but we’re pretty sure that while this milkshake is the tastiest, swankiest, most extra thing we’ve ever seen our abuela would say “cien dolares para un milkshake?!”
