Katy Perry, 35, was recently interviewed on KIIS1065's "Kyle and Jackie O" show, where she was asked about the rumors that she had chosen Jennifer Aniston to be the godmother of her daughter, who is about to be born.
Given this, the singer said that she and her partner, actor Orlando Bloom, had a lot of fun with that information, and also revealed how they found out about those speculations.
Katy said that both she and Bloom have a great friendship with the former "Friends" star, so one day they received a peculiar message from her asking if it was true that she had been chosen to be the godmother of her daughter, “she texted us because we are friendly with her, and Orlando is one of her good friends and we were like, 'Wow, this is a wild rumor.'"
Perry added, "God knows she's had everything said about her."
The “Teenage Dream” singer did not want to reveal who they chose to be the godmother of her little girl and explained that for now, the only thing she is interested in is to manage to cope with the last days of pregnancy and the discomfort that this involves.
