This is What Jennifer Lopez said in Spanish at Joe Biden's Inauguration

Jennifer Lopez sang at Joe Biden's presidential inauguration and before ending her performance, delivered a powerful message in Spanish.

Latinx superstar Jennifer Lopez performed at Joe Biden’s Inauguration. Wearing a white Chanel pantsuit and visibly moved, the superstar took the microphone and began to sing the melodies accompanied by the US army band.

J.Lo’s performance of “This Land Is Your Land” and “America the Beautiful”  was a medley, in which she threw in a bit of “Let’s Get Loud” at the end. During her performance, “La Diva Del Bronx” lifter a finger and proclaimed: “Una nación, bajo Dios, indivisible, con libertad y justicia para todos!”

For those who are curious as to what JLO said in Spanish, well, it’s the final phrase of the Pledge of Allegiance: “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

This officially makes JLO the first person ever to speak in another language during the presidential inauguration and to perform at the Super Bowl, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square, and the Presidential inauguration in D.C. all within one year!
