As a prelude to the live broadcast of the 69th MISS UNIVERSE® competition, Telemundo unveils a full lineup of special multiplatform programming leading up to the international event that will air live from coast-to-coast on Sunday, May 16 at 7pm ET/6 CT/4 PT.

As a countdown to the main event, Telemundo will showcase extensive coverage all week throughout its daytime programming and digital platforms starting early in the morning with “hoy Día” (7-10am/6-9 CT), followed by “Acceso Total” (11:30am/10:30 CT) in local markets, the network shows “En Casa con Telemundo” (2pm/1 CT) and “Al Rojo Vivo” (4pm/3 CT), as well as Latinx Now!(Saturdays at 12:30am on Telemundo and Thursdays at 1am on Universo).
On Thursday, May 13 at 8pm/7 CT, “Miss Universe: Desfile de Traje Típico” (National Costume Show) will live stream on Telemundo.com/missuniverso and on the Telemundo Entretenimiento YouTube channel.
Hosted by Vanessa Claudio and Carlos Adyan, this is one of the most anticipated moments of the celebration where contestants from around the world showcase their cultures in their national costumes. This event will also be available on Universo on Saturday, May 15 at 8pm/7 CT.
On Friday, May 14 at 7pm/6 CT, “Miss Universe: Competencia Preliminar” (The Preliminary Competition), hosted by Rodner Figueroa and Nastassja Bolivar, will live stream on Telemundo.com/missuniverso and on Telemundo Entretenimiento on YouTube
Fans can cheer for their favorite contestant as she competes in the evening gown and swimsuit categories in order to secure a spot in the MISS UNIVERSE® finals. This event will also be available on Universo on Saturday, May 15 at 9pm/8 CT.
On Saturday, May 15 at 7pm/6 CT, Telemundo presents “Miss Universe: Las Nuestras” (Miss Universe: Our Contestants), a one-hour special hosted by Jacky Bracamontes on Telemundo.com/missuniverso and on Telemundo Entretenimiento on YouTube.
During the show, viewers will have exclusive access to the MISS UNIVERSE® Hispanic candidates before the big event as they share their experiences, expectations and how they prepared for the international competition.
The main event is on Sunday, May 16th. The action kicks off on at 4pm ET/3 CT/2 PT, with “Miss Universe: En Casa Con Telemundo Edición Especial” (En Casa con Telemundo Special Edition), a two-hour special hosted by Ana Jurka, Carlos Adyan, Nastassja Bolivar, Freddy Lomeli and Alix Aspe.
Join them as they introduce former MISS UNIVERSE® titleholders and pageant experts to discuss who they think will be among the top candidates to win the coveted crown.
The special will also feature interviews with national pageant directors, including Osmel Sousa (Argentina), Lupita Jones (Mexico), and Denise Quiñones (Puerto Rico). The program will also be available live on the Telemundo App.
At 7pm ET/6 CT /4 PT, Rodner Figueroa and Vanessa Claudio will host the “Miss Universe: Celebrando Nuestras Reinas” (Celebrating our Queens) pre-show airing live on Telemundo from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in celebration of the 69thMISS UNIVERSE® competition.
Viewers will get acquainted with the Hispanic contestants right before the competition in a one-hour special featuring a musical performance by the internationally renowned Colombian singer, Fonseca. The special will simulcast on Universo and the Telemundo App.
At 8pm ET/7 CT/5 PT, Carlos Ponce and Jacky Bracamontes will host the live coast-to-coast broadcast of the 69th edition of MISS UNIVERSE® exclusively in Spanish from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The three-hour event will feature representatives from over 70 countries competing in various categories and will culminate when the reigning Miss Universe®, Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa, crowns her successor at the end of the night.
