2019 is Lunay's year.
The Puerto Rican singer is one of the three “Top Breakout Artists” of 2019 according to Spotify’s end of year list with the most popular artists and content globally. Lunay joined the ranks of Lil Nas X and Lizzo in this category.
As a matter of fact, Lunay was the ONLY latino who made it on the Top Breakout Artists list. And that’s not all; the “Aventura” singer is also in Spotify premuim’s Top Artist category among some of the most popular rappers in the music industry such as Drake, Travis Scott, Daddy Yankee.
Lunay has captivated the world with his infectious music and good looks. Within less than two years in the game, he won ‘New Artist of The Year’ at the 2019 Latin AMAs, scored two Billboard Hot 100 entries with “Soltera Reamix” ft Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny and “Aventura” ft “his big brother” Anuel AA and Latin trap star Ozuna.
Not long ago, VEVO named Lunay one of its ‘DSCVR Artists to Watch.’ Furthermore, following the steps of his fellow Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, Lunay was named Apple Music’s Up Next artist making him the second Latin artist to be chosen for this campaign that recognizes top rising artists.
Earlier in Oct., the urban music sensation dropped his debut album “EPICO” which topped Billboard’s Latin Album Sales chart for one week.
