Telemundo’s "La Voz" returns on Sunday, July 26th for the highly-anticipated final rounds at 9pm/8c.
Hosts Jacky Bracamontes and Jorge Bernal along coaches Luis Fonsi, Alejandra Guzmán, Carlos Vives and Wisin will welcome the remaining 28 contestants who will take the stage to kick-off “Los Enfrentamientos” (The Cross Battles).
As stated on the press release, in this phase, the coaches will challenge each other with members of their teams competing in a series of spectacular performances. The winner of each battle will be decided solely by the audience’s vote on Telemundo.com/LaVoz and Xfinity’s X1 which will secure their place in the Semifinal of the leading Spanish-language singing competition where they will contend for the coveted trophy, the epic $200,000 cash prize and a recording contract with Universal Music Group to produce, record and commercially release a single.
“We are happy to kick-off the final rounds of this heated competition and witness the last 28 contestants as they get ready to impress our viewers to earn their vote," said Ronald Day, Executive Vice President of Telemundo Entertainment. “Now our audience will take full control and decide who will be crowned this season’s winner."
To kick off the return of “La Voz,” Telemundo will air a two-hour special where Jacky and Jorge reconnect with each contestant to relive their Blind Auditions and Battles and their experiences behind-the-scenes as they prepare to return to the final rounds on Sunday, July 19 at 9pm/8c.
In addition, on Monday, July 20th, Latin pop duo Mau & Ricky will return as the coaches of El Comeback Stage via the official Twitter account, @LaVozUS at 10AM ET.
The winner of the digital series available on Telemundo.com/LaVoz, which offered a second chance to six contestants who were not chosen during the Blind Auditions, will join the winners of “Los Enfrentamientos” during the Semifinal of “La Voz.”
