On Sunday, June 21st many countries around the globe celebrated Father’s Day!
To commemorate this special holiday, some celebrities used social media to write moving messages for their dads and husbands.
Although this year's celebration was different due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was not an impediment for celebrities to recognize one of the most important people in their life.
Some celebrated from a distance, others were fortunate enough to be reunited with their fathers and there were those who expressed all their love, admiration, and respect to their loved ones in heaven.
Jennifer Lopez was one of the celebrities who did not let this date go unnoticed. In her first post on Instagram, the singer congratulated her ex-husband (Marc Anthony) and father of her children.
“Happy Father’s Day flaco!! Wishing you the best day today,” she wrote along with a few photos in which the salsa singer appears with Emme and Max.
“Dad, thank you for being you… for loving me for who I am… I am so lucky to have you as my dad. Happy Father’s Day,” she said.
Finally, the famous 50-year-old singer wrote an emotional caption for the love of her life and future husband, Alex Rodriguez.
“Having you in all of our lives is such a blessing. Watching you with all our babies makes my soul sing. Happy Father’s Day macho bello!!! We love you so so much,” she wrote.
Salma Hayek also posted a beautiful photo in which she recognized the men in her family for extraordinarily playing the role of a father.
“I feel very fortunate that I have been blessed with great men in my life, especially my father, my father-in-law, my husband, my brother and my two stepsons. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers in the world,” she wrote.
Kris Jenner made a special mention in which she recognized the fathers of her family. The reality TV star made a nice collage in which she added photos of her son Rob Kardashian, her ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner, and her sons-in-law, Travis Scott, Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick and Kanye West.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, soon-to-be dads, grandfathers and father figures out there. How blessed we all are to have these incredible fathers in our lives! Thank you for teaching, loving and supporting our kids and grandkids and leading by example. We love you!,” she wrote.
Kim Kardashian posted two photos to recognize her husband Kanye West, with whom she recently celebrated her sixth wedding anniversary.
“Happy Fathers Day to the best dad!!!! Thank you for making life so much fun! You give our kids the most awesome life! I love you so much!!!,” she wrote.
Ricky Martin also recognized his father, Don Enrique Martin Negroni, and shared a series of never before seen photos of his father with his children.
“World's Greatest Dad. Don Enrique Martin Negroni. I love you dad!,” he wrote.
