Daniel Arenas Joins Telemundo’s Hoy Dias Co-Host

Together with co-hosts Adamari López, Penélope Menchaca, Andrea Meza and Chiky Bombom,they will bring viewers all the latest in entertainment and news every morning starting at 7am/6c.

Tomorrow, January 25th, Hoy Día will welcome famous Colombian actor and new co-host, Daniel Arenas, to the Telemundo morning show. The three-hour live show that airs from Monday to Friday offers viewers a fresh and entertaining format to start the day alongside co-hosts Adamari LópezPenélope MenchacaAndrea Meza and Chiky Bombom

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented and charismatic actor, Daniel Arenas, to the Telemundo and Hoy Día family,” said Ronald Day, President of Entertainment and Content for Telemundo. “Daniel is joining a group of dynamic and talented co-hosts, and together they will continue to captivate viewers with the energy and entertainment this morning show is known for.”

Arenas, a talented actor and host seen in movies, telenovelas and theater, first became known in Colombia after participating in the reality show Protagonistas de Novela.  He then developed a successful career in telenovelas in Mexico and Colombia starring in S.O.S Me Estoy EnamorandoMédicos Línea de VidaMi Marido Tiene Familia and Corazón Indomable, among many others. 

Under the new format, Hoy Día has greater emphasis on entertainment and fun, without leaving aside the important news of the moment in order to start the day well informed. The content covers positive and inspiring topics, as well as useful segments targeted to the Hispanic communities across the nation to improve the audience’s daily lives. The program connects viewers with their favorite stars, covers the latest entertainment news, and offers cooking segments with guest chefs to showcase and enjoy the diversity of Latin cuisine, and much more.

Hoy Día airs live Monday through Friday from 7 to 10am/6 to 9C on Telemundo. Viewers can also watch the show via or on the Telemundo app, which is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
