CNCO, Kim Loaiza, Farruko and more artists to perform at Premios Tu Música Urbano 2022

San Juan, PR — June 6, 2022 — Telemundo announced a new group of Latin music stars slated to perform at Premios Tu Música Urbano 2022 to celebrate the rhythm that is moving the world.  Blessd, Casper Mágico, CNCO, Farruko, Feid, Kim Loaiza, Manuel Turizo, Miky Woodz, Natanael Cano, Ovi, Sofía Reyes, VF7 and Víctor Manuelle will hit the stage at the much-anticipated awards show, which will broadcast live for the first time on Telemundo on Thursday, June 23 at 7pm/6c, from San Juan, Puerto Rico. They join the list of previously announced performers including Christian Nodal, Ivy Queen, Jay Wheeler, María Becerra, N’Klabe, Nio Garcia, Piso 21, Sech, and Zion & Lennox. Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Farruko, who boasts seven nominations, will arrive at the awards show following the launch of his single “Nazareno,” the first release after announcing his new spiritual journey. Casper Mágico, who rose to fame with “Te Boté”, will appear with a nomination for Top Song Tropical Urban award for his successful hit “Travesuras Remix;” while singer-songwriter rapper Miky Woodz, with two nominations, will hit the stage following the recent launch of his single “Nadie” next to Jay Wheeler and Nio Garcia, and his collaboration with Victor Manuelle in “Vamo’ A Ver Si El Gas Pela.” Cuban artist Ovidio Crespo, better known as OVI, is up for three awards and will arrive following the release of his latest trap song.

CNCO who hold two nominations, will bring their fusion of pop and reggaeton to the celebration,  following the release of their most recent single “La Equivocada.” Highlighting other fusions are Colombian artists Manuel Turizo, Feid and Blessd. Manuel Turizo, with three nominations, will appear after the launch of his first bachata song titled “La Bachata;” while urban music rising star Feid, with two nominations, will arrive after the success of his most recent dance song “Castigo,” from his highly anticipated upcoming album. Joining them is singer-songwriter, rapper and four-time nominee Blessd, who is known for fusing Colombia’s Musica Popular with hip-hop and reggaeton rhythms and recently earned his first ever Billboard No. 1 hit with “Medallo” alongside Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavarez.

Blending regional Mexican and urban, is Mexican artist Natanael Cano, with four nominations, who will perform after the release of his latest album NataKong. Offering a tropical vibe is Puerto Rican artist Victor Manuelle, who is up for Top Song Tropical Urban for his hit “Vamo’ A Ver Si El Gas Pela” and recently launched his latest album Lado A Lado B.

Among the female artists is Mexican artist Sofía Reyes, who has two nominations and appears after her recent collaboration with rock band Train on their single “Cleopatra.” Meanwhile, influencer and rising young star Kim Loaiza will hit the stage after the success of her songs “Después De Las 12” together with Ovi, and “Piketona” with Lele Pons. Valeria, or VF7, who has managed to place herself within urban music royalty at the young age of 15, a number that is also the title to her most recent album, will also perform as proof of the never-ending rise and growth of Latin urban music. Both Kim Loaiza and VF7 are up for the Top New Artist — Female award.
