Just days after Bad Bunny made his debut on the cover of Playboy magazine, the Puerto Rican trap star was rushed to the emergency room due to appendicitis for which he had to undergo surgery.

“Bad Bunny had an emergency appendicitis surgery yesterday. This is why he was taken into the hospital. He’s doing well and is currently recovering at the hospital,” said his publicist to Telemundo.

Many local media outlets in Puerto Rico assured that “El Conejo Malo” was admitted to a hospital in Santurce on Thursday, July 9th.

According to “Noticentro” a television program on WAPA, Bad Bunny is currently at Doctors Center Hospital in Puerto Rico where he arrived at 13:30 local time and had surgery an hour later.
