Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Paulina Rubio and More To Perform at Latin Billboard Music Awards 2020

Anuel AA, Carlos Vives, Paulina Rubio, and more joined the list of artists that will perform at the Latin Billboards Music Awards 2020.

Telemundo announced today the spectacular list of Latin music artists who will join the exciting line-up slated to perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony that promises an impressive live show. The list includes established international stars Anuel AA, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Carlos Vives, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Pablo Alboran, Paulina Rubio, Pitbull, Reik, and Yandel, along with talented young artists like Chesca, Manuel Turizo, Raymix, Kendo Kaponi, Jessie Reyez and Rauw Alejandro. They will join the group of previously announced performers, including Armando Manzanero, Black Eyed Peas, Farruko, Gente de Zona, Gerardo Ortiz, Jesse & Joy, Maluma, Myke Towers, Ozuna, Sech and Wisin.

Telemundo will roll out the red carpet to welcome these artists and other great stars who will gather for the first time this year to celebrate at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, the longest running and most prestigious awards show in Latin music, which will broadcast live on Telemundo on Wednesday, October 21 starting at 7pm/6c with the red carpet pre-show followed at 8pm/7c by the three-hour awards show from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, a finalist for three Billboard Latin Music awards, is currently promoting its most recent album El Trabajo es la Suerte, while Reik, finalists for Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Duo or Group, launched their new album De México, paying homage to regional Mexican classics, including “Háblame de Ti” by Banda MS.

Luis Fonsi, a finalist up for four awards, including Latin Pop Album of the Year for Vida, has just released his latest single "Perfecta" with Farruko, who is up for 10 awards, including Airplay Song of the Year, Airplay with “Calma” and “Baila, Baila, Baila;” while Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio launched “Tu y Yo” last March, in a duet with electro cumbia artist Raymix, a finalist for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo.

Daddy Yankee, who is up for 12 awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year for "Con Calma," has just signed a multi-million dollar contract with Universal Music Group and released his new song "Don Don," a collaboration with Anuel AA, who is up for 11 awards including Social Artist of the Year, and rapper and actor Kendo Kaponi; while fellow Puerto Rican artist Yandel, a finalist for three awards together with Wisin, debuted his new album Quién Contra Mí 2, at No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart, featuring 22 songs with 28 guest artists including J Balvin, Rubén Blades and Snoop Dogg.

Pitbull will hit the Billboard stage with full energy after releasing the video clip of the remix for “Mala” from his album Libertad 538, which honors his father for aiding to bring Cubans to the United States in 1980, and the recent launch of his single “Te Quiero Baby (I Love You Baby) with Puerto Rican pop singer Chesca.

Colombian singer-songwriter Carlos Vives will perform after releasing his 14th studio album, Cumbiana, and a 45-minute documentary on the beginnings of cumbia and vallenato; while fellow Colombian artist Manuel Turizo has become a new reggaeton sensation and is a finalist in the category of Artist of the Year, Debut.

Spanish artist Pablo Alborán has just announced his new album Vertigo, while Jessie Reyez, the Canadian R&B star of Colombian origin, released her first album a few days ago titled Before Love Came to Kill Us, and Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro reached No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts with his hit “Tattoo-Remix.”

The Billboard Latin Music Awards will coincide with Billboard’s Latin Music Week, a three-day virtual experience dedicated to Latin music, culture, and entertainment.
