Naya Rivera’s disappearance at Lake Piru in California has left the entertainment industry in shock. The ‘Glee’ star has been missing since Wednesday, July 8th.

A person from the area found Rivera’s life jacket on the boat she rented along with her 4-year-old son, Josey Dorsey, who was sleeping with his life vest on. When the authorities arrived, his mother’s body was nowhere to be found.

After identifying the boy, he was sent with his family and several search units, diving equipment, and a helicopter were deployed to find Rivera’s body.

When the news was made public, some "Glee" actors and many celebrities reacted on social media and are praying for the well-being of the 33-year-old actress.

Heather Morris, who was one of her closest companions and played Brittany, her girlfriend, in the series wrote in her Instagram story "We need all the prayers we can get to bring our Naya back home to us. We need your love and your light."

Also, Harry Shum Jr, the best dancer of the show, shared a tweet with the message, "Praying".

Iqbal Theba, who played director Figgins on the music series, also reacted to the news about Rivera on Twitter, "Oh God…mercy…please…”

 

Demi Lovato worked alongside Rivera on "Glee" in four episodes between 2013 and 2014. The singer shared on her Instagram stories a photo of a candle and wrote “Please pray for Naya Rivera to be found safe and sound.”

Jackée Harry also sent good wishes, "Prayers for the lovely Naya Rivera. We starred together in her first television series 'The Royal Family' and I’ve watched her career blossom ever since. Please, God, don't cut this life short."

Colleen Ballinger and Victoria Justice were also among the celebrities who turned to social media to send their good intentions to find Rivera.

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole Polizzi, also known as "Snooki", tweeted, “Waking up to Naya Rivera Missing is an absolute tragedy. Praying for her safety. So absolutely heartbreaking thinking of her 4-year-old. #FindNaya

“Praying for Naya Rivera and her family. Can’t stop thinking of her poor son,” Andy Cohen tweeted.
