Camila Cabello is encouraging her fans to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election in November and shared a big surprise on her social media.
According to her Instagram post, people who sign up to vote will immediately enter a contest to win a virtual hang out with the “Señorita” singer.
“I promised to keep using my platform to take action and make change, so I’m working with @headcountorg to help register voters and help make that happen,” she wrote.
Cabello wants her followers to know the importance of exercising their right to vote.
HeadCount created a platform called Vote Ready in collaboration with Phone2Action. The organization aims to register at least 200,000 voters for the 2020 elections and contact more than a million Americans in a massive effort to get out of the vote.
In addition, young Latinx's will play an important role in this year's elections, which is why Telemundo launched "Decsión 2020," initiative that will offer comprehensive cross-platform coverage of news and electoral campaigns throughout the country throughout the year, for the Hispanic community.
