The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards finalists will be announced during an exclusive global broadcast on Telemundo’s Instagram page this Wednesday, Feb 5, 2020, at 12:00 pm ET.
This year, the finalists will compete in 59 different categories within the musical genres of Latin Pop, Tropical, Latin Rhythm, and Regional Mexican. The InstaLive event will feature the participation of various personalities from the music industry, reactions from the finalists, special guests and a live musical presentation by Argentine urban music singer and songwriter Emilia Mernes.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2020, from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and will air live only on Telemundo.
The most prestigious award in the Latin music industry is the only one to honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, based on actual sales results, streaming radio broadcasts, and social networks that provide information to the weekly Billboard lists.
The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards nominees announcement will be hosted Latinx Now! host Christian Acosta, and singer/songwriter Emilia Mernes.
