Selena Gomez stopped by "Ellen" to fangirl over her favorite "Friends" character since Jennifer Aniston was hosting the show.
Aniston and Gomez expressed their love for each other and shared details about their first encounter.
“We’ve known each other for years. You’ve been to my house, we’ve had pizza,” Aniston said; Gomez then talked how they ran into each other for the first time “in a bathroom" adding that at the time “nobody knew who I was.”
“You were in the bathroom wearing a black dress,” she said. “I walked into the bathroom and I saw you and you were just so nice. You just walked out of the bathroom, you were going back, and my heart stopped and I freaked out and I ran to my mom and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just saw Jennifer Aniston,’ ” Selena said.
“Did I say hello? Did we have a pleasantry?” asked the actress, as Gomez replied, “You were fine. You were everything that I wanted.”
Gomez also gushed over how much she loved the long-running sitcom and the character that made Aniston famous.
"Are you guys kidding me? Rachel is my life!” Selena said while addressing the audience. “You know what makes me so happy? I would watch [Friends] on channel 33 at 10:30 every night at Thursday, with my mom, and I cried when the whole season was over. But what makes me so happy is now people buy it and everyone else is so obsessed and it makes me so happy for you and the show because it’s iconic.”
