Former WWE Hall of Famer and former World Tag Team Champion Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson (Wayde Douglas Bowles) has passed away at age 75.
The “Soul Man” began his career in sports entertainment in the mid-1960s in the National Wrestling Alliance. Johnson’s career peaked in 1983 when he began in WWE. During his free time, Johnson would have one to one training sessions with his son, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Dwayne Johnson’s father retired from the ring in 1991 but his legacy will live on forever. The “Soul Man” was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 which remains as his biggest accomplishment in sports-entertainment.
