Karol G took the stage this weekend on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." The Colombian singer made her family proud with her late-night television debut performing "Tusa" and she thanked the host for "celebrating her music and culture."
“Being on Jimmy Fallon tonight is a very big opportunity for me, and I think that more than an opportunity [it is] one of those things you ‘check’ off your list,” she revealed on an interview to Remezcla. “There have already been many artists I admire on this show, a lot of Latino artists, and I put myself onto the task — I said, ‘I want to be there someday, too,’ as it’s a great opportunity for me to do a project in the Anglo market.”

According to Billboard, “Tusa,”debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated November 23, marking Minaj’s first No. 1 on any Latin chart. It's also the first song by a female Latin act to debut at No. 1 in three years since Shakira’s “Chantaje" featuring Maluma.
