Selena Gomez Will Open the 2019 American Music Awards
Selena Gomez is back and the star recently announced on her Instagram and Twitter that she will open the "2019 American Music Awards"; this show marks her first live TV performance in two years.
The Latinx artist is expected to perform her two new songs “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now," and the event will also celebrate her BFF Taylor Swift, who is set to receive the Artist of the Decade honor and perform a medley of some of her biggest hits.
The AMAs will celebrate the past 10 years of music and entertainment by highlighting some of the most iconic moments and live performances from big names in the industry.
Other performers include Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World, Toni Braxton, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Green Day, Jonas Brothers, Kesha feat. Big Freedia, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Post Malone feat. Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott and WATT, Thomas Rhett, and Shania Twain.
The American Music Awards will be broadcast live from downtown Los Angeles on ABC starting at 8 pm. EST.
