Telemundo Launches Its First Exclusive Show For Snapchat; 'Diego Street Magic'

“Diego Street Magic,” is a weekly 10-episode unscripted series that will air every Tuesday and Thursday through mid-December on Snapchat’s Discover page.

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, the leading media company serving Hispanics, announced the premiere of their first-ever Snapchat Original digital show, “Diego Street Magic.” Up to date, this is the first show from a U.S. Hispanic media company made exclusively for Snapchat’s mobile-first audience.

“Diego Street Magic,” which officially launched today, is a weekly 10-episode unscripted series that will air every Tuesday and Thursday through mid-December on Snapchat’s Discover page (to the right of the camera).

If you’re still wondering who will be featured on the show, well…. it’s none other than renowned Mexican-American magician, Diego Winburn. He will be performing magic tricks and illusions throughout the streets of New York City.

“Diego Street Magic” will be mostly in English but also Hispanic-relevant to serve the growing bilingual, bicultural, younger audience.

The NBCUniversal Digital Lab partnered with NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises and October Films to produce the entire series. In addition, once the 10 episodes air exclusively on Snapchat, they will be available on Telemundo’s official YouTube page.

“The median age of US Hispanics is a whole 15 years lower than non-Hispanics - our audience is digital-first which is why we continue to expand our storytelling and content development to new platforms and new formats,” said Romina Rosado, Senior Vice President, Digital Media & Emerging Businesses NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. “We are thrilled to be launching ‘Diego Street Magic’ and to do so with Snapchat, an ideal partner to reach today’s hyperconnected Hispanic with a fresh, urban take on magic.”
