Lunay is making waves with his new single “Fin de Semana,” which he presented for the first time on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night (Oct. 2). 

Rocking a black puffer jacket, white pants, and bling, Lunay took to the Kimmel stage to perform his latest reggaeton bop dedicated to the girls who love the weekend. 

Ahead of the performance, the young urban artist expressed on Instagram, “Watch me on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight on ABC.”

“Puerto Rico in the house,” he added with a Puerto Rican flag emoji.

Lunay has come a long way since he was put on our radar in 2018 forming part of Ozuna’s “Luz Apaga” alongside other newcomers Rauw Alejandro and Lyanno. Venturing out on his own, the 18-year-old artist then dropped “Soltera” in February 2019, under the wings of Chris Jeday and Gaby Music. Its remix, alongside Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny, debuted at No. 73 on Billboard’s Hot 100 in May, making it Lunay’s first appearance on the renowned chart. 

Lunay is nominated for best new artist at the 2019 Latin American Music Awards alongside Sech, Rosalia, Darell, Paulo Londra and Jhay Cortez.
