Cuban-American star, Jen Carlos opened up about his most recent rejection on Instagram. The actor, who recently moved to Los Angeles to film The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia, auditioned for Fast & Furious because it has some of the things that he loves the most; music, fast cars and family.
Jen Carlos shared that he didn’t get the role because the casting director’s said he was “too good looking” for a part in the cast. Jokingly, he wrote “it was that or maybe my audition sucked ass!”. “It felt like the worse compliment I had ever gotten,” Jen Carlos added.
Since the Fast & Furious movie franchise hasn’t announced if the saga will come to an end, Jen Carlos still hopes to be part of a Fast & Furious movie in the future. Clearly, we are not the only ones who struggle to achieve our dreams but this just shows celebrities don’t have it as easy like some people think.
Jen Carlos ended his post on a positive note and wrote “to everyone out there that is knocking on doors that close in your face, don’t stop!! That’s why my arms are big bc I’VE BEEN AND WILL KEEP F*CKIN KNOCKING BABY!!”.
