Selena Gomez and Jimmy Fallon Eat Super-Spicy Chicken Wings on 'Tonight Show': Watch

It got hot, hot, hot when Selena Gomez appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

It got hot, hot, hot when Selena Gomez appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But on this occasion, Selena can’t take the credit. The late-night host put his pop-star guest into the hot seat as the pair chowed down for a “Hot Ones” session, a Q&A while eating spicy chicken wings which progressively got hotter.

“I’m going to regret this,” Gomez said at the top. Yes, she probably will. The aim of the game is just hanging in, survive. If you get to the end, you get to try a sauce that’s 400-times hotter than a jalapeño. Winning.

There wasn't much talking as "Hot Ones" host Sean Evans hammered out the questions. There was, however, a lot munching, sweating, crying and freaking out as the food turned nasty on Jimmy and Selena. For a little something extra, the Stanley Cup was wheeled in the filled for milk for Gomez and Fallon.

Gomez appears in the new zombie-comedy film The Dead Don't Die and like everyone else, she never knows when, or if, she'll see her unpredictable castmate Bill Murray, though she revealed what he whispered in her ear when they were on the Cannes red carpet recently. "He was just saying dumb things," she said. "He'd just lean in and be like, 'You look great tonight.' And then he'd look back serious and be like, 'Where are you from?'"

She was also excited to say she has finally wrapped work on the new album, which just needs a few tweaks at this point. "I'm just relieved," she said. "It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album and it's just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that how was I gonna to capture that and how was I actually gonna to feel good about what I was saying?"

In case fans were worried, she said there is definitely a sense of "strong pop" on the untitled album, but also more electric guitars, some "soulful" tracks and acoustic guitars as well.
