Ozuna, Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Cardi B came out winning at the Billboard Music Awards 2019

Los Latinos showed up in style to celebrate alongside mega-music stars at one of the biggest nights in music. Stars like Becky G, Maluma, and CNCO were in the audience for the Billboard Music Awards which came just a week after the Latin Billboard Music Awards. Artists like Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Cardi B continued their winning streak from the previous week taking home a few awards to add to their collection.  

Overall the big winner of the night was Drake who took home 12 awards making him the artist with the most BBMAs in history who now has 27 in total throughout his career. 

Cardi B was also a big winner of the night taking home 6 awards including Top Female Artist. She won 4 awards for her collaboration with Maroon 5 in “Girls Like You” - Top 100 Song, Top Selling Song, Top Radio Song, and Top Collaboration.  Although Maroon 5 wasn’t there to receive the awards. Cardi wasn't shy about jumping up on stage and accepting the awards for everyone.   Her last award was for Top Rap Song alongside Bad Bunny and J Balvin for “I Like It”.

One of our biggest winners a week ago at Latin Billboards Ozuna continued to win for his album Aura taking home the award for Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Album. 

Top Latin Song was also awarded for “Te Bote” the chart-topping single from Casper Magico, Nio Garcia, Darell, Nicky Jam, Bad Bunny and Ozuna.  The single “Te Bote” took home over 3 awards at Latin Billboard Music Awards last week for Hot Latin Song of the Year, Hot Latin Song of the Year; Collaboration, and Streaming Song of the Year.

Another big moment for Latinos came during the $5 million performance complete with holograms, a cha-cha dance and fully transformed stage from Queen of Pop Madonna featuring Maluma for the live performance debut of her newest single “Medellín” off her forthcoming album Madame X.  Maluma also revealed the tracklist for his upcoming album 11:11 giving us something to look forward to for next year. 

The Billboard Music Awards proved to be a great night full of A-list talent where Latinos represented strong.
