5 Highlights That Make Bad Bunny's X100PRE Tour a Must-See
Bad Bunny conquered the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL with his first show of the X100PRE Tour in the United States on Thursday night (Mar. 14).
Around 10:00 p.m., the lights went out, and bracelets that were distributed to crowd as they entered the arena lit up. The Puerto Rican singer then appeared on stage, vibrating with energy as he opened with "Ni Bien, Ni Mal," followed by "200 mph" and "Quien Tu Eres."
"Thanks to each of you who came to have a good time with me today," Bad Bunny said. "You have seen my evolution since day zero."
Below, Billboard Latin summarizes the best moments of the opening night of Bad Bunny’s X100PRE Tour.
Surprise guest J Balvin joined Bad Bunny to light up the arena with three songs: “Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola,” “Sensualidad” and “I Like It.” Lil Pump also showed up to perform “Gucci Gang.” Zion and Ñejo made appearances, too.
A great message
Bad Bunny made it clear that we must accept and respect each other. It was beautiful to see the whole arena singing the slow part of the song "Claro," which goes, “Yo no te hago daño a ti, yo solo quiero ser feliz” (I don’t hurt you, I just want to be happy).
Solid selection of songs
Bad Bunny did not forget his musical roots. Hits like “Mayores,” “Solita,” “Chambea,” “Tu No Metes Cabra” and “Te Bote” were all included on his setlist. “Amorfoda” appeared to be Miami’s favorite song; even though fans were singing all night, “Amorfoda” stood out, everyone sang it from the heart.
The aforementioned bracelets were ingeniously synchronized with the music during the two-hour concert.
Fans could see Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio (Bad Bunny’s real name) from any point in the arena, since it was a 360 stage.
