As Romeo Santos’ “Centavito” hits No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart (dated Dec. 1), he scores his 15th leader on the tally.

As Romeo Santos’ “Centavito” hits No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart (dated Dec. 1), he scores his 15th leader on the tally. With the achievement, he breaks out of a four-way tie he previously held with Carlos Vives, Shakira and Wisin for the third-most No. 1s on the list. He now stands alone with the third most, trailing only Enrique Iglesias with 30 and Ricky Martin with 17.

“Centavito” leaps 4-1 thanks to a 24 percent gain in audience impressions (to 13.41 million) in the week ending Nov. 24, according to Nielsen Music.

The sixth single from his album Golden, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart in August 2017, “Centavito” is Santos’ second chart-topper of the year. He previously led the chart for one week when “Sobredosis,” featuring Ozuna, landed atop the July 21-dated list.

At No. 10 on Latin Airplay, another Santos track, “Ella Quiere Beber” with Anuel AA, enters the top tier for the first time, bumping 13-10 with 9.82 million in audience (up 24 percent).

The move earns Anuel -- who has placed five of his six charted titles just in 2018 -- his first top 10. Meanwhile, Santos logs a 17th top 10.

Over on the Hot Latin Songs chart, which combines radio airplay, sales and streaming data, “Ella Quiere” remains at No. 5 for a third consecutive week, chiefly thanks to gains at radio and in streams. The song earned 8.75 million U.S. streams in the week ending Nov. 22.

“Taki Taki” Claims Latin Rhythm No. 1 Spot: Over on the Latin Rhythm airplaychart, DJ Snake claims a career first No. 1 as “Taki Taki,” featuring Selena GomezOzuna and Cardi B, lifts 2-1 with a 10 percent boost in audience.

With the move, Snake becomes the second European act to top the list this year. Gomez notches her first No. 1, while it’s Ozuna’s seventh chart leader and Cardi B’s second.

Farther below the tally, Zion & Lennox’s “Hola” ascends 11-9 thanks to a 25 percent increase in audience. The duo collect their 17th top 10. “Hola” is their third charted title as lead artists this year, all of which have reached the top 10. It follows the former leader “Bandolera (La Player),” which landed at the summit on June 30.

T3r Elemento’s Sophomore Debut: Lastly, Los Angeles/Las Vegas-based corridosgroup T3r Elemento debut at No. 5 on the Top Latin Albums chart with their sophomore album, The Green Trip. The set also enters at No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart, their first leader on the tally.

Released via DEL Records on Nov. 16, the set opens with 4,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Nov. 22, mainly on the strength of streaming activity (as 3,000 of that sum is in streaming-equivalent album units)

Their second chart entry bests the peak of the act’s previous top 15 debut with Undeground, which peaked at No. 12 on Jan. 27. It continues to chart on the current list, ranking at No. 17 in its 55th week on the list.
