But before that joyous moment, Gael García Bernal took center stage accompanied only by an acoustic guitar to perform “Remember Me”, the main theme of the movie and also winner of Best Original Song

Soon enough Gael’s brief stint opened the curtain for a show nearly as colorful as movie itself. Then we got a duet by Natalia LaFourcade and Miguel, who made their way among the many dancers, and under the bright neon lights, performed the rest of the song with grace.
