The Julián Gil - Marjorie De Sousa Drama Is Lit and Their Poor Baby Is Caught in the Middle of It

Julián and Marjorie: The drama is real.

So, as you probably know by now, actors Julian Gil and Marjorie de Sousa —who last year lived a brief romance which led to them having baby Matías three months ago— have recently broken up on pretty bad terms.

It’s still not clear what really went down between them (at least not yet). Gil has said to Telemundo’s Suelta la Sopa that those details he will take to his grave, but he also added that “a relationship can never be between three [people], never,” raising questions about whether or not cheating may have a played part in the breakup.

Now there’s even more beef going around, with People en Español magazine and its editor-in-chief Armando Correa in the mix. Apparently, there was an agreement (not clear if verbal or written) between Gil and De Sousa with Correa to present baby Matías to the world exclusively in the June issue of People en Español.

Gil and De Sousa had announced their pregnancy on the cover of People en Español a few months back.

Since then, the breakup occurred and then last Friday, April 28th, Julián decided to publish on Instagram pictures of him with baby Matías, only a day before the People en Español cover shoot with the baby was slated to take place…and there went the magazine’s exclusive.

An upset Armando Correa said that People en Español will still go ahead and follow through with their promise of featuring baby Matías on their June cover, apparently only with De Sousa, while also giving Gil a space in the magazine to speak his mind on the whole thing.

“I promised both of them [Gil and De Sousa] that they were going to be in [this year’s] 50 Most Beautiful and I delivered on that promise. I’m a man of my word and I come through with my commitments. I’ve earned the respect of celebrities through my ethics and professionalism in my two decades working at People en Español. I expect just the same from others,” Correa said.

But wait, it’s not over yet.

On Monday, Gil took to Instagram to respond to Correa’s comments in a pretty extensive open statement. “My son is non-negotiable,” Gil said. And proceeded to call out the People en Español editor-in-chief: “Mr. Armando Correa, you say it’s the first time in 20 years that a celebrity breaks an agreement. Well, I want you to know that this week I’m celebrating 30 years of my professional career and it’s the first time that a journalist disrespects me and takes advantage of the delicate situation I’m going through for his magazine’s gain.”

Gil continued: “Are you sure it was me that broke the agreement? Do you remember what the agreement was? Did you forget that I found out through other people, outside of your team, that you were going to do the photos without me knowing? Why didn’t you write in your column that I reached out to you four days in a row and you never gave me a reason? Who broke the agreement, you or me?

No response from Correa/People en Español yet, nor from Marjorie de Sousa, but it doesn’t look like this is ending anytime soon. Unfortunately so…

The worst part: the poor baby is caught in the middle of it all. Come on guys, just settle this already, do it for Matías!
