tinder recently matched with spotify, and now the dating app is allowing its users to add a favorite song to their profile. now you'll know whether or not you'll get along with a potential match according to their music taste. pitbull? swipe left. kanye west? swipe right.
it's a pretty cool idea, one that is reminiscent of those myspace days. on the new match up, tinder ceo sean rad said,
“music is an important part of making new connections and getting to know existing ones. just like you go to the bar that plays your favorite music, you’re likely attracted to the people at that bar who enjoy the same music. we want to do the same thing with the spotify integration.”
