Chanel Beckenlehner was born and raised in the picturesque town of Caledon, Ontario, Canada. Living in the country has inspired a love for nature, animals, and the environment. A natural in front of the camera and on stage, one of her ambitions in life is to pursue a career as a television presenter. As a University of Toronto Political Science Specialist, Chanel not only has the charisma, but the skill set to lead and empower others. She is a strong, confident woman who is not afraid of a challenge.
In her own words: “Find your mentor! This is a message I would give to young women and little girls. Build a relationship with someone that you respect, look up to and wish to emulate. A mentor is someone who prioritizes and commits their efforts to ensuring you are progressing toward your goals; not just giving advice”.
1 At the age of 13, Chanel was the youngest clinician in the history of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (Canada’s largest agricultural fair) to present a clinic series on training a young horse.
2 Chanel is an avid golfer. Each season, she tries to get in at least 30 rounds. She is looking forward to playing a round at the Trump National Doral Golf Club.
3 Chanel has been riding horses since the age of two. Having elite athlete training in the equestrian sport of Dressage, one of her goals is to represent Canada at the Summer Olympic Games.
