Lauren Guzman is the fifth Texas titleholder to win both Miss Texas Teen USA and Miss Texas USA. She is a graduate of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, where she received her degree in Forensic Science. She plans on pursuing a career as a special agent with the FBI. Lauren is also an active member of the Texas State Guard Rapid Reaction Force (RRF). The Texas State Guard is a volunteer militia that is deployed in the event of a natural disaster to supplement local and state law enforcement. RRF is trained in land navigation, search and rescue, swift water rescue, and shelter management. Lauren volunteers with several organizations including Pink To Do, Bethany House of Laredo, USO, Shriner's Hospital, Military Mom's and Wives of Brazoria County, MHMR(Mental Health Mental Retardation)and Walk MS, to name a few. In her spare time, she likes to be outdoors swimming, hunting, fishing, or snow-skiing.
