Noelia ans Timbaland: We better get ready, because Noelia is here again… ¡y nada la va a detener!

Imagine for a second you are a Latin artist, and at 33, you’ve already sold 4.5 million records and achieved nine Latin Billboard Top 40 hits, eighteen worldwide gold and nine worldwide multi-platinum-certified albums, along with one RIAA-certified Gold (500,000) record in the United States. Imagine yours is one of the sexiest and instantly recognizable female voices blasting on radio stations across America. Besides, you’re so famous that you’ve gotten the front cover of “Maxim”, “Billboard magazine” and “People en Español”. Having such a remarkable career, a question comes to mind: What else could you do to keep things new, fresh and exciting for you and your audience?

Well, making your first record entirely written in English is one option -- and working with Timbaland and Sean Garrett, two of the hottest producers in the music business – makes it all that much better. You could also do both at the same time; and that’s exactly what Noelia, the gorgeous singer who has achieved nothing but success since her 1999 debut album, decided to do.

Over the last decade, Timbaland’s vision as composer and producer has given shape to several songs by artists such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Björk and Beck, to name just a few. Sean Garrett, on the other hand, holds the very impressive record of producing 15 number one singles in just seven years. He was also the composer of Usher’s “Yeah”, the second best song of the 2000-2009 decade according to Billboard. Even though Timbaland and Garrett have worked together before, this is the first time they’re gonna bring their R&B and dance flavor to a Latin artist.

What will the record sound like? If Noelia’s new single “Here I go again” sets the tone for the whole album, the party’s just getting started. A fusion of house, lounge and metal, the song tells the story of an on-again, off-again relationship between two lovers who can’t stand to be apart.  The legendary Los Angeles Theatre, in downtown LA, was chosen as the set for the music video, directed by Morna Ciraki.  Noelia looks hotter than ever as she admits to being addicted to love.

As “Here I go again” takes American and Latin radio stations by storm, the Timbaland’s produced record is set for an October release. Noelia says she feels great about how the studio sessions have turned out. The producers share her enthusiasm. That being said, we better get ready, because Noelia is here again…y nada la va a detener!
