A few years ago, bachata had a moment in Latin music, giving opportunities to talents such as Leslie Grace, whose cover of "Be My Baby" in bachata launched her own musical career.

Over time, the 23-year-old singer has shown that she is capable of not only singing bachata, but also of exploring different genres ranging from pop/R&B to reggaeton, as showcased in her recent single “Duro y Suave” featuring Noriel. "I always try little by little to show the fusion of me, my influences, the music that I listened to when growing up," she said during an interview with Billboard.
