The Internet Does Not Understand How Come "Despacito" Didn't Win Any Grammys

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's smash hit "Despacito" was nominated for 4 Grammy awards last night and yet it did not win a single one.

Here’s How Luis Fonsi Reacted to Not Winning a Grammy for “Despacito”

The song, which has been heard everywhere on the planet, and broken all records you could think of, even tying Mariah Carey for staying #1 in the Billboard charts for 16 weeks straight, was not enough for Fonsi and Yankee to take a Grammy home.

To be fair, most people (even us here at The MVTO) thought that "Despacito" would for sure get Song of The Year or Record of The Year because the song was such a massive hit. 

Despite the fact that Fonsi and Yankee were empty handed, they shared messages on Instagram about how this is just the beginning for Latin music to take over.
