Camila Cabello Responds to Fifth Harmony's Shade at the VMAs "It Hurt My Feelings"
Camila Cabello finally talked about that moment.
The "Havana" singer sat down with the New York Times for an interview before the release of her debut album. Camila opened up about Fifth Harmony's infamous stunt at the VMAs last year, where one of the members was yanked off the stage, seemingly throwing shade at Camila for leaving the group.
Camila said: "It definitely hurt my feelings. I wasn't expecting it. I wasn't prepared for it- especially because at that point I'd moved on from it. I was just like 'What? Why?'".
In the article, Camila mentions how there was tension in the group ever since she collaborated with Shawn Mendes in 2015 up until her departure in December 2016. Camila's solo career so far has been a success: "Havana" is currently at the number 2 spot on the Billboard Charts and has had the longest running song in the pop charts by a female artist in five years in the pop charts.
