Telemundo’s sixth annual Premios Tu Mundo award show is set to broadcast live this Thursday, August 24th at 8pm/7c from the American Airlines arena in Miami, with a lead-in one-hour pre-show special “La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” at 7pm/6c. Premios Tu Mundo is the only entertainment award show on Spanish TV that is exclusively based on fan votes, which makes it even more exciting. That said, here are five things to look forward to at this year’s PTM award show:
1. "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso" lead actress Carmen Villalobos, "Un Nuevo Dia" co-host Daniel Sarcos and "El Señor de los Cielos" lead actress Fernanda Castillo will be hosting the show.
2. Everyone's fave Latino boy band CNCO is leading the music categories with three nominations: Favorite Pop Artist by iHeartRadio, Favorite party-starting song and fan club of the year.
3. Les Twins (Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois), the self-taught duo that became well known when their street dancing videos received millions of views on Youtube and winners of NBC's new dance competition series "World of Dance," will be performing at PTM for the first time.
4. Reggaeton star Ozuna will take the stage for a first-time performance at Premios Tu Mundo.
5. Carlos Ponce, Chiquis Rivera, Don Francisco, are among the many presenters of the night.
