Just days after Telemundo announced its upcoming mini series on Mexican legend Luis Miguel, they revealed that Diego Boneta would be portraying his role.
Thanks to producer Roma Downey, Boneta and the “Si Nos Dejan” singer finally met in Malibu, California for the first time this Thursday.
Boneta took to Instagram shortly after to share the epic moment with his million followers.
People en Español reported that Roma considers Diego the ideal actor to portray Luis Miguel. "Truly a young and adorable rising star," she said, referring to Boneta.
"People will travel alongside with me through a surprising, unexpected and emotional journey that has shaped the artist and the person that I am today," Luis Miguel said in a statement about the series.
