Sofía Vergara is about to make your emoji dreams come true.
The Modern Family star is bringing every girl’s favorite emoji to life and voicing the Flamenco Dancer in The Emoji Movie.
“I play the Flamenco Dancer,” Vergara tells PEOPLE. “And she is always doing the Flamenco. She does it in the morning when she gets up, she does it when she’s eating, she probably does it when she’s sleeping. It makes things like driving or putting on her makeup very difficult.”
“I thought it was a great adventure and who doesn’t like an emoji?” Vergara said. “I thought it was going to be a perfect role for me because people are always saying that I look like her!”
In the film, all the emojis who live in the city of Textopolis have just one facial expression, except for Gene who’s proud of his multiple expressions. However, in order to fit in with his fellow emojis, Gene and his friends go on adventure through each the smartphone apps in search of the perfect code.
