sofía vergara has taken legal action against ex-fiancé nick loeb, to make sure he cannot gain access to her frozen embryos.
according to people, the modern family star filed legal documents this past tuesday, asking the state of california’s superior court for declaratory relief and a permanent injunction as well as monetary damages against loeb.
in simpler terms, the 44-year-old actress wants loeb officially blocked from being able to use, without her written consent, the frozen embryos they created back in 2013.
loeb has been trying to get full-custody of the viable pre-embryos since the pair split up in 2014, and this past december he voluntarily dismissed the case.
in may 2016, vergara spoke with good morning america and said, “i don’t want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this.”
