Age: 22
Sharie de Castro was born and raised in the British Virgin Islands. She was fortunate enough to learn from her 102-year-old grandmother, who taught her wisdom, patriotism and the value of family. Sharie currently works as a English teacher. One of Sharie’s dreams is to become a published author and today her book “Lessons Learnt” is currently in production. She enjoys poetry and mirror acting.

Fun facts:
1.Sharie cites traveling with her identical twin sister as an “immigration nightmare.” Since their names are pretty close, they are often held up as imposters!
2.Sharie collects Converse sneakers. She has an extensive selection of high-top, low-top, one and two-tongued, limited edition and custom pairs.
3.Sharie is a trained orator from her years of performing with the New Life Baptist Church Speech Choir. She has performed throughout the Caribbean and the United States.
